We had two stormy sessions caused by two members of the team but eventually we got over the difficulties. Jane, Sarah and Campbell and myself had different types of contributions. Some would collect the required information through research, then the info get discussed and analysed through next Skype session. After that one or two of the team members summarise what has been discussed and post the outcome to the wiki. I have logged the project progress and actions in the assignment timeline document and posted it to the wiki after each Skype session.

As team members we have learned from each other and had to compromise in order to achieve the overarching goal of providing a good analysis of Ergon Energy and finish the assignment on time. I have finalised the last version of the assignment and submitted it to Craig Tapper on Sunday 4/9/09. All team members have done their best in contributing to this assignment.

Logging into the Team Wiki

I have not received any email to invite me to the team wiki site. I received an email later on from one of the team members indicating that she has logged in after receiving an email from the course facilitator. I emailed Craig tapper a couple of time who suggested that the problem might be related to email filtering at my work. No that was not the problem as I checked with the work email administrator. I called MBT student support centre who told that a number of students have the same issue.

Later on I asked the help of the uni IT support. A technician spent have an hour to figure out how to fix the problem. Then had a work around with a new user name for me to enable me log into the team wiki.

Finally I got to the team wiki. This was my first time using a wiki. I upload my comments and files to the team site.

I suggested a schedule to the team which I uploaded earlier to WebTeach team discussion page. Sarah Neale updated my suggested schedule and moved it to the wiki. I also suggested Skype conference call which the team accepted and we had our first online meeting through which we introduced ourselves and discussed the assignment and what need to be done next week before we meet together through another Skype voice conference.
